The Krystal Company gathered 25 local senior-level IT professionals for a networking breakfast on Tuesday, in an effort to better connect Chattanooga’s IT community.
This networking startup venture, hosted by Partha Mukherjee, vice president and CIO of The Krystal Company, was Chattanooga’s first-ever event tailored specifically to information technology industry veterans in the area. Taking advantage of the professional development opportunity, local chief information officers and senior IT executives explored innovations and trends in their field, while sampling a variety of new breakfast menu options soon to be offered at Krystal. Topics of discussion included the attraction of technical talent to Chattanooga, IT survival in a down economy and cyber security strategies.
“There is a real need in the business community to have a group come together within the technology industry, and I personally really appreciate Partha’s vision to make this happen,” said Dan Traynor, CIO of TVA and moderator of the event.
