After years of trying for a baby, Tennessee author Heather Nelson and her husband, Kevin, were still unable to have a child. They tried multiple infertility treatments and endured countless medical procedures, but still had no luck. Finally, with the crushing loss of Peanut, they began to see that God was with them in their journey.
In her new book, “God had Other Plans,” Ms. Nelson shares that although angry and emotional, she and her husband learned that despite all of their careful plans, God had other intentions for them. She says her struggle induced not only an acute understanding of herself, but a deeper appreciation of her husband, their marriage, his faith, and overall the love and forgiveness that God had so freely given her, but she had yet to accept.
Ms. Nelson shares her personal struggle of fertility difficulties and pregnancy loss to help other couples who are also struggling to start a family. Readers learn how to cope with the emotional and physical stress, how to depend on God's plans, and also how to laugh as she shares some sage advice for their friends and family too on the crucial Do's and Don'ts of infertility support.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
