Joe Bill Stephens, Jr., 62, of Hixson, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe B. Stephens, Sr.; grandmothers, Juanita Phillips and Ada Stephens and his uncle, Billy Phillips. 

Survivors are his wife, Sue Stephens; daughter, Tina Stephens-Fritz and her husband Doug; son, Jeff Stephens and his wife Amanda; mother, Jean Stephens and grandchildren Ashley, Colton  and Jackson and (soon to arrive) J.T.  Extended family includes Rita Heggie, Robert Terry, Jimmy and David Phillips, Julie Schaad, Christy Phillips and his closest friend, Wendell Clowers.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 29, in the chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Jared officiating. The burial will be private.  

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
