Steve D. Kirkpatrick, 59, of Cleveland, Tn., died Friday, June 22, 2012 at Lake Louise in Alaska. 

He was a member of First Baptist Church. Steve was owner of Steve Kirkpatrick Design. He was a graduate of Bradley High School, Class of 1970. In 1974, he graduated from UTK with a B.S. degree in psychology. He went on to graduate from Cybic Design School in New York in 1980. Steve was a master designer of clothing apparel. He was an accomplished pianist and organist and had a great love for music and animals. He enjoyed fishing and being with his family. 

He was preceded in death by his father, John V. Kirkpatrick; his brother, Tommy Kirkpatrick and died at the same time as his brother, Jeff Kirkpatrick. 

He is survived by his wife of 17 years and the love of his life, Terrie Littrell Kirkpatrick; mother, Pauline Dixon Kirkpatrick; sons, Christopher Kirkpatrick and Chad Kirkpatrick and wife, Jennifer Howard Kirkpatrick; daughters, Amy Kirkpatrick Houser and husband, Andy and Tiffany Wilkerson Ashworth and husband, Jacob; granddaughter, Caitlyn Kirkpatrick; sisters, Kim Calfee and husband, Rex and Kathy Lovelace and husband, Wallace; sisters-in-law, Cindy Kirkpatrick and Lettie Kirkpatrick Burress and husband, Phil; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, June 29, at the old First Baptist Church on Church Street with Pastor Judson Kirkpatrick and Dr. Allan Lockerman officiating. Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, in Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with Dale Miller, David Patton, Ron Weaver, Ronnie Whaley, Edwin Curtis, Zane Kirkpatrick, Ryan Lovelace, Corey Lovelace, Adam Kirkpatrick, Logan Kirkpatrick, Eddie Campbell and Rusty Burke serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. 

His family will receive friends from 1-6:30 p.m. Friday at the old First Baptist Church prior to the service. 

The family requests that memorials be made to Ocoee Middle School Drama Department, 2250 N. Ocoee Street, Cleveland, TN 37311.
