Rayburn Orville “Bo” Crawford, 80, of Rossville, died on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in a local hospital.
Mr. Crawford was born in Hickman, Tn., to the late Luther and Neely Crawford and had lived most of his life in the Chattanooga area. He was retired from the Carpenters Local 74 and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, JoAnn Howard Crawford; children, Debbie (Jeff) Widener, Rayburn Crawford, Jr., (Brenda), Rodney (Teresa) Crawford, and Bradley (Amanda) Crawford, all of Rossville; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 29, at 9:30 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel. Burial will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with honors provided by the U.S. Navy.
