Lucky Man - And Response

Friday, June 29, 2012

Michael J. Foxx wrote a book called Lucky Man. Me and MJF have one thing in common, Parkinson's. In short, Parkinson's is interference with the brains command to the muscles to move. It grows progressively worse as time rolls on.

Yesterday I celebrated my 65th birthday. I got up.signed some online petitions, listened as the news said that the Supreme Court was going to uphold the idea that healthcare was a right in this country and not a privilege. I then made love to my woman and went to work.

Although yesterday was my chronological birthday, any and every day that I can wake up and arise will be my birthday. Thank you, Lord. For, like Michael J. Foxx. I, too, am a Lucky Man.

In addition to the Dad who got all of those quotes for the Dr. Seuss book for his daughter (and Dr. Seuss himself - see Roy), my new hero is F. Doug Craig.

He gets my vote for President of the He-Man Woman Lover Club. What a shot in the arm. We all are so lucky for people like this.
