UTC Softball Makes Coaching Changes

Sunday, June 03, 2012
UTC Lady Mocs Head Softball Coach Frank Reed announced that volunteer assistant Lindsey Ubrun will be promoted to assistant coach, while Michelle Fuzzard after finishing her five-year playing career in May will become volunteer assistant.

Reed said, "With the departure of Assistant Coach Sammi Parks, I am excited to announce the completion of our 2013 coaching staff with Assistant Coach Ubrun and Volunteer Assistant Fuzzard. After being with us for two years working with our hitters and outfielders, coach Uburn has done a great job and the program is excited about keeping her on staff. We definitely wanted to be able to keep a player with the distinction of Fuzzard as a part of our program. She is going to work with the pitchers and catchers. With her ability, she can also spread out and work with hitters and in the infield."

Amy Herrington-Woodard is associate head coach.
