Joy Everett, 52, of Dalton died Thursday June 28, 2012 at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her father Tom Everett; grandparents, Tom and Eula Everett and Joe and Ella Brown; uncles, R.B. Brown, J. L. (James Leonard) Brown and Joseph Brown; aunt Nellie Henderson.

Joy is survived by her mother and step-father, Lillie and James Dale of Tunnel Hill; son, David Everett of Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Harry Lowery of Dalton; brother Thomas Everett of Varnell; aunts, Nora Ensley and Louise Brown; uncles, C.L. Brown and J. L. Brown all of Dalton; grandchildren, Kayli Everett, Lillie Everett and the mother of the grandchildren, Brittany Everett; niece Melissa Swanson and nephew Elijah Everett.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home. Burial will be in West HIll Cemetery.
