George Miller, 75, of Dalton died Thursday June 28, 2012 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was the son of the late, Floyd and Bessie Fletcher Miller and was preceded in death by his brothers, Tommy Miller, Earl Miller and a sister Sylvia Miller.

George attended Cedar Valley Cathedral of Praise for more than 45 years and worked as a carpenter and home builder for most of his life.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Charlene Hammontree Miller of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Tim Deal of Ringgold; son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Sarah Miller of Dalton; sister Mary Helen Bearden of Dalton; sister-in-law, Jannieve Miller of Dalton; grandchildren, Andrew Deal and Justin Deal; nephew, Derek Bearden of Dalton and his beloved pets, Blackie and Brownie.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Clayton Brown officiating. Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from noon til the funeral hour at 2 p.m. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.lovefuneralhomega.com.
