Chattanooga State Nursing Program To Hold Series Of Information Sessions

The Division of Nursing and Allied Health at Chattanooga State Community College will present a series of information sessions during the month of June for anyone interested in pursuing a career in the health care field. Topics of discussion will include the application process, admission requirements, selection process, curriculum details, licensing and credentialing examinations, career opportunities and more. Information sessions will be held on the main campus either in the Health Science Center (HSC) or the Center for Business Industry and Health Professions (CBIH).


Attendance is mandatory for the dental assisting program’s information session scheduled for June 11 at 8 a.m. on the second floor of the HSC in room 2028. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 697-4474.


On June 12, two information sessions for the registered nursing program are scheduled for 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the first floor of the HSC in room 1083. Reservations are not required. Attendance is strongly encouraged, but not mandatory for admission into the program. Call 493-8740 to make a reservation.


On June 13, the dental hygiene program’s information session is scheduled for 5 p.m. in room 2031 on the second floor of the HSC. Attending this information session is not required for admission, but a reservation must be made. RSVP to michelle.mould@chattanogastate.edu.


Finally, on June 27, emergency medical services program has two information sessions scheduled for 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. in room 105 on the first floor of the CBIH Building. Attendance is mandatory for acceptance into the program. However, a reservation is not needed. Changes to the application process will be discussed.

Morning Pointe Awards First Nursing Scholarship At Chattanooga State

Head Of BB&T's Chattanooga Commercial Banking Operations To Plead Guilty To Making Fraudulent Loans

The head of BB&T's Chattanooga commercial banking operations has been charged by federal authorities with making fraudulent loans. Tracy Brown is set to plead guilty to bank fraud on June 4.
