Naomi Margaret Grove, 96, of Hixson and formerly of Farragut, Tennessee, died on Friday, June 8, 2012 in an area health care facility.

Ms. Grove retired from Knox County Government as the County Tax  Assessor Assistant after many years of service. She was a member of Roswell United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Grove, Sr.; parents, Moses Brownlow Byington and Nora Freels Byington; brothers, Irwin Cecil, John Dewitt, Melvin Rhoten, Joe Austin and Moses Brownlow Byington.

Survivors include her son, Fred (Sharon) Grove of Hixson; daughters, Willie Sue Wade of Tulsa, Ok., and Nora Lou Barlow of Dewey, Az.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Gravesides services and interment will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, Ga. 

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, at the funeral home.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Soddy-Daisy Healthcare and Grace Healthcare for all their love and care for the past three years.
