Police said a man on diversion for a 2009 facilitation of aggravated robbery was caught with baggies of marijuana after a traffic stop.
Aaron D. Cousin faces new charges of possession of marijuana, improper lights and a registration violation.
Officers said the car he was driving was stopped on N. Holtzclaw Avenue because the tail lights were out and the registration was expired.
Police said they immediately smelled marijuana and found two small baggies.

Danny Pippin of Soaring Eagle Circle said he has been having trouble sleeping and was up early when he looked out and saw that his 10-foot trailer was gone from his yard.
The trailer has two motorcycle ramps and has a Yamaha sticker on one side and a Suzuki sticker on the other.
It's worth $1,700.

At the Kangaroo on Hixson Pike, employee Michael Treppard said he asked "a known shoplifter" to leave the store.
He said the man went out to his car by the gas pumps.
Mr. Treppard said when he went out to change the garbage cans that the man was still there and he gunned the vehicle while going through the store lot.

Police said Chapalle Montgomery admitted to vandalism after he said he was carjacked.
Officers said he broke every window out of a 1995 Chevrolet Caprice belonging to Jeremy Cotton.
Montgomery, 38, was arrest for vandalism/malicious mischief.
