A 55-year-old Red Bank woman was killed in a two-car collision on Highway 153 on Tuesday.
The victim was identified as Marilyn Jo Siress Watts.
Police said Ms. Watts was in a Pontiac Firebird southbound at 5500 Highway 58 near Holcomb's Garden Center when a Ford pickup truck tried to cross three lanes of traffic at Berean Lane.
The pickup driven by 77-year-old Marvin F. Stone struck the Firebird, causing fatal injuries to Ms. Watts.
Stone was cited for failure to yield right of way.
Police said additional charges may be filed pending the outcome of the investigation.
Ms. Watts was a member of Cavalry Bible Church.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Watts; son, Daniel Adam Watts; mother, Barbara Siress; sister, Jill Siress, and brother, Henry D. "Hank" Siress.
Funeral services will be at Calvary Bible Church, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, with Reverend Bill Henry officiating. Entombment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.
