Running For Brews Meets Wednesday

Friday, July 13, 2012

Hill City Pizza will be hosting the Running for Brews social running club beginning on Wednesday at 7 p.m. It is a free weekly event where runners will be able to enjoy a route around scenic Chattanooga and then enjoy a multitude of drink specials provided by Hill City Pizza.  All levels of runners are welcome.

Running for Brews is a running club that meets in a social setting, runs/walks a 5k, and then drinks craft brews together.  The average member runs about a 5k, but runners complete the run at all speeds and distances.

In addition to weekly runs every Wednesday, Running for Brews will be putting on a series of larger events to raise money for local charities in Chattanooga.  These events will be in the same format as a local race event with a theme in mind, and the only entry charge for runners is to bring canned goods or cash donations.

Email RunningforBrews@gmail.com to receive the weekly Chattanooga newsletter with all the upcoming events, schedules and special announcements.
