Marianne Wilt

Marianne Jane Wilt, 84, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late George W. and Mary C. Wolfe and was preceded in death by four brothers.

Marianne retired from Dupont in Pennsylvania and was gifted poetry writer and loved to work crossword puzzles. She was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include her daughter and son–in-law, Alicia and Karl Hixon, of Chattanooga, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, at the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Funeral services and burial will be announced later and held in New Cumberland, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local Humane Society or Red Cross.
