Hattie Massengale Plank, 90, of Chattanooga, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, July 14, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.  

Hattie, along with her late husband, Leon, were longtime and faithful members of Delashmitt Road Baptist Church. 

Survivors are her daughters, Peggy (Curtis) Gossett and Pearl (Sam) Ellison of Chattanooga; sister, Maggie Essex, Winchester, TN; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17 in the chapel with Reverend Ronnie Smith and Reverend Eddie Ellison (grandson) officiating.  Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
