Willie Beaty Ford, 79, of East Ridge, Tennessee, died on Monday, July 16, 2012, in a local hospital.  

She was a member of the River of Life Church. Mrs. Ford was a loving mother and grandmother, and a compassionate and caring sitter to the elderly.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, U. R. Ford; stepson, Leon Ford; stepgranddaughter, Charlotte Bludsworth; brothers, Joe Beaty, Will Beaty, Ricky Beaty, and Ernest Beaty; sisters, Jewell Thomas, Edna Hardeman, Mae Morgan, and Velma Hughes.

Survivors are her children, Stan Ford, and wife, Sandra, Ringgold, Janice Ford Brazier, and husband, John, Harrison, Tenn., Chuck Dupree, Fort Oglethorpe, and Junior Ford, and wife Evelyn, Henegar, Alabama; sisters, Pauline Raughton, Fort Payne, Ala., Betty Raniey, Crawfordville, Ga.; grandchildren, John Brazier II, Justin Brazier, Beth Cuzzort, Michael Cuzzort, Robert Ford, Rachel Ford, Shelby Dupree, Angie Westbrook, and Sherry Ford McBride; 21 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 20, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in National Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Gerald Raughton, Larry Raughton, Steve Beaty, Michael Cuzzort, Robert Ford, and Justin Brazier.
