Evangelist Mollie B. Curry, 76, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 in a local hospital.
She was a licensed evangelist of the Cathedral of Praise Church of God of Prophecy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Bishop Eddie Curry; eight children, Reverend Eduardo (Tamara) Curry, Acquila (Danny) Young, Marthel (Evangelist William) Young, Reverend Kenardo (Ivy) Curry, Delrika (Naomi) Curry, Callievene (Derrick) Stewart, Peterious Curry and Eudreon (Tasha) Curry; twenty-one grandchildren; sisters, Clara Rolle and Emma (Bishop Tommy) Hughes; brother, Robert (Hattie) Danzy; devoted niece, Yvonne (Bishop Simeon) Kemp a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
Visitation is on Sunday, July 22, from 5-7 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Monday, July 23, at 11 a.m. at Cathedral of Praise Church of God of Prophecy, 725 Church Street, Rossville, GA 30742, with Bishop Billy Adams as the eulogist. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
