Aaron Tippin and Robby Hopkins Band

With three number 1 hits and 30 charted songs, Aaron Tippin has played before the largest audiences in the world. Friday night, Chattanooga will get a chance to see him in a smaller setting, as the Redoubt Soccer Complex plays host to Tippin in a benefit for the soccer league. Some tickets are still available, so act soon.

Tippin hit the charts first with RCA Records and scored a number one hit in 1992 with “There Ain’t Nothin’ Wrong With The Radio”.

He followed that number one with another three years later with “That’s As Close As I’ll Get To Loving You.” “Kiss This” was released in 2000 and went straight to the top of the charts.

Opening for Aaron Tippin is the Robby Hopkins Band from North Georgia. Robby recently opened for Craig Morgan in Chattanooga and has just won the Atlanta round of the Texaco Country Showdown. He was named “best country act” for 2011 in the Chattanoogan.com.

Location Of The Delta Queen Is The Problem

The Delta Queen is a magnificent part of history and in many ways I'm pleased she is in town. Having the boat where she is is the problem. The boat blocks the view of and from the prettiest park in our town. The crew take many of the parking spots around the park leaving families to park across Frazier and schlep their kids, strollers and picnics to the park. You don't get fireworks ... (click for more)
