Mitch McClure Starts New Sermon Theme Sunday

Monday, July 02, 2012

Middle Valley Church of God, at 1703 Thrasher Pike in Hixson, continues its adopted theme for 2012, "Involving Ourselves in 2012."  This theme will guide all ministry efforts.

In conjunction with this theme,  Pastor Mitch McClure will begin a new series of sermons titled, "It's Rough Out There" on Sunday.  Pastor McClure will speak on the topic "Marriage Doesn't Matter Anymore" in the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday.

Pastor McClure stated, "The family unit as God gives it to us is under attack.  It seems that many have a total disregard to the patter of one man and one woman as a family unit.  Our world has changed and the church must address these issues by returning to Biblical principles of the family."

Pastor McClure will lead the church in a prayer focused service at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Middle Valley Church of God continues community ministry since 1946.  For additional information, contact Pastor McClure at 843-1539.

The crew take many of the parking spots around the park leaving families to park across Frazier and schlep their kids, strollers and picnics to the park. You don't get fireworks ... (click for more)
