Hoyt Harold Parker, 81, of Cleveland, TN, died on Sunday, July 22, 2012.
He was a retired carpenter, and he loved watching football and baseball games. He enjoyed talking with everyone he came in contact with. He loved his family and friends and was loved very much by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the love of this life for 61 years, Margaret Jo Parker; parents, Lewie and Mamie Parker; brother, Doyle Parker; and son-in-law, Jackie Farris.
Survivors include two daughters, Janie Brewer and husband, Clyde and Bobbie Bischoff and husband, Don; five grandchildren, Michelle Moore and husband, Scott, Chris Brewer and wife, Chancie, Keisha Brewer, Travis Farris and wife Lorie, and Amber Farris; seven great-grandchildren, Peyton and Shayli Brewer, Parker, Jessie and Levi Moore, and Logan and Kaylee Farris; brother, Billy D. Parker and wife, Joan; sisters, Lola Tanksley and Brenda Wilson and husband, Jack; and special nieces and nephew, Lawrence and Pat Holder and Reba Cook.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, July 25, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Reverend Ronald McDowell and Minister Steven Hall officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Olive Cemetery with Chris Brewer, Peyton Brewer, Parker Moore, Levi Moore, Travis Farris, Logan Farris, Scott Lewis and Will Julian serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Scott Moore.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 24 at the Fike Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
