Massengill, Rita Jeanette (Cleveland)

Rita Jeanette Massengill, 51, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Monday, July 23 in a local hospital. 

Rita was the daughter of the late Loretta Jeanetta Earley Lemons and Auther Lee Clinton Lemons. Rita was a 1978 graduate of Bradley Central High School and she worked for Remington Industries in Benton and Cleveland with 10 years of service. She enjoyed traveling, music and being with her family. Rita attended the Fairview Worship Center and the Holy Ground Worship Center. 

Survivors include her sisters, Karen Ramsey and her husband Rudolph of Cleveland, Laura Lee Chumley of Cullman, AL; her brother, Paul Alan Lemons of Cleveland; her fiancé, Donnie Simonds of Cleveland; her nieces, Christina Moller and her husband Duane, Sandra Pope and her husband Benjie and Crystal Monger all of Cleveland and Brittany Lemons of Huntsville, AL; her nephew, Keith Chumley Jr. and his wife Laura of Clarksville, TN; and her special friend, Lori Floyd of Cleveland.

The Remembrance of Life Memorial Services will be conducted Thursday, July 26 at 2 p.m. from the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Reverend Jack Epperson officiating. 

The Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes has charge of the arrangements.
