OHS Band Raffle Has $10,000 Top Prize

The Ooltewah High School Band has kicked off its fourth annual fundraising raffle.  The grand prize is $10,000.

Each ticket costs $100. Only 300 tickets will be sold. 

The drawing will be held on Sept. 28. 

Other prizes include a $3,500 Golf Cart (Steve Ray’s Midnite Oil and Golf Carts in Ooltewah), three $100 Visa gift cards (Wade Dyar State Farm), two bath and body product baskets worth $100 each (Vibha Makwana), $200 worth of Pampered Chef products (Linda Reimenschneider), a $100 Visa gift card (Community Bank and Trust in Ooltewah), a $100 Bi-Lo gift card (Ooltewah Bi-Lo), a $100 merchandise prize (East Brainerd Bi-Lo), a $100 Chili’s gift card (Chili’s Brainerd), and two pair of tickets to the Dorothy Patten Fine Arts Series valued at $88 (University of Tennessee at Chattanooga).  Winners do not have to be present to win.

Tickets can be purchased at the Ooltewah High School home football games, Steve Ray’s Midnite Oil in Ooltewah, Advantage Printing on Brainerd Road, Dodge City Liquor Store in East Brainerd, from any OHS Band parent, or by contacting Sondra Hart at 423-553-0561.




Fifth Annual Day Camp For Individual?s With Autism Set June 17-20

Man Stabbed To Death After Argument

A Chattanooga man was stabbed to death after an argument on Friday night. At approximately 11 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a stabbing at 101 E 20 th St. where they found the victim, Alexis Lewis, 51, lying on the walkway with a fatal stab wound to his chest. Baker Says City Withdrawal On Riverbend Security Will Make Pin Costs Rise Next Year
