Hearing Loss Association Picnic Is Aug. 11

Chattanooga Chapter members of Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) announce their annual indoor picnic on Saturday, Aug. 11, from 5-7 p.m. in the Chattanooga State Community College CBIH building. Members, families, friends, and supporters of HLAA are invited. Bring a dish to pass. BBQ, beverages, utensils, and paper products will be provided.

Wade Hinton Named City Attorney

Wade Hinton, who led Mayor Andy Berke's transition team, has been chosen as city attorney. Head Of BB&T's Chattanooga Commercial Banking Operations To Plead Guilty To Making Fraudulent Loans

The head of BB&T's Chattanooga commercial banking operations has been charged by federal authorities with making fraudulent loans. Tracy Brown is set to plead guilty to bank fraud on June 4.
