As a business owner, there are two challenges I face nearly every day. Number one: I have to identify a problem and simultaneously move in a direction to solve that problem. If I hesitate, employees suffer, profits suffer, and ultimately, so does my business. Number two: I need to increase my profit without increasing my cost. The best way for me to increase my profit is for me to listen to my customers. I must pay attention to what my customers are saying.
Do I believe government should be run like a business? I think it's a very simple answer.
I want leaders in Washington to solve problems as they identify them, and I want them to listen to the needs of those who elected them. Unfortunately, that is not happening; however, I believe Scottie Mayfield will do that as a member of Congress.
Scottie has 40 years of business experience at Mayfield Dairy Farm. He couldn't have stayed in business if he didn't solve problems quickly and efficiently, or if he didn't listen to his customers. I believe his leadership in Washington can change the way government does business.
Join me in voting for Scottie on Aug. 2nd.
