Ryan Oyer's New CD Metamorphosis
Ryan Oyer's New CD Metamorphosis

Every weekend – actually, every night – there is good, local music throughout Chattanooga in a variety of settings. You can go to a music venue, like Track 29, JJ’s Bohemia, or Rhythm & Brews. You can go to a club that features live music, like Bud’s, T-Bones, Tremont Tavern, or Meo Mio’s. You can go to Nightfall or the Chattanooga Market, or even Rock City. But, it’s not every night that you can go to a double CD release party in a studio quality room like Barking Legs Theater and catch 2 – count them - two LOCAL musicians performing their newest tunes for their fans.

Ryan Oyer and Megan Howard will be appearing tonight (Saturday) at the wonderful Barking Legs Theater  on Dodds Avenue to celebrate the release of each performer's new release.

Roy Exum: A Dose Of Foxhole Humor

During my quest this week for jokes and funny stories that would brighten my day, a surprising number of friends sent me hilarious samples of “fox-hole humor” and it made perfect sense. It was the most famous Marine – Chesty Puller – who once announced to his troops in Korea, “All right, they're on our left, they're on our right, they're in front of us, they're behind ...
