The Mountain Arts Community Center will host Zach Laliberte in concert on Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10.

Zach Laliberte was born and raised in Chattanooga, attending Signal Mountain Grammar School (now the Mountain Arts Community Center).  He attended the School of Performing Arts at Chattanooga High School and worked with his family's theatre company, Skwalking Heads.  In 1998, he left Tennessee for Columbia College in Chicago, where he earned his bachelor?s degree in the Theatre Program, in 2003.

  After graduation he worked in Chicago and internationally as a performer, and released his first album, "Skeletons of Songs," in 2007.

Moving from Chicago to Los Angeles in 2008, his musical career blossomed. He has played at the Viper Room, the Rainbow Room and the Roxy, as well as producing many of his own shows in Santa Monica, Hollywood, and North Hollywood.  Throughout 2011 and 2012, he traveled extensively and opened for well-known singer/songwriter David Wilcox in Virginia.  With a ensemble of artists known as the Indy Convergence, he has performed shows in Indiana and Haiti.

Zach has released two music videos, "Daydream" and "Normal," which are available to watch at www.youtube.com/user/DeepStructureProds. He returns home often; most recently, he played Riverbend Festival 2012.  His new album, "Hello Ocean," will be released next month.

Woman Found Dead On Lovell Road; Police Looking For Terry Releford

A woman was found dead on Sunday morning at 8912 Lovell Road, and police are seeking a "person of interest" in the case. Deputies responded to that location at approximately 8 a.m. on a suspicious death. On arrival "deputies found a dead female in her 30s deceased from an apparent homicide."
