T-Ran Gilbert Hitting East & West Coasts With Summer Shows

Contemporary Christian Artist T-Ran Gilbert is going hard this summer with performances and appearances on the East and West Coast, and hitting points in-between via radio, television and the Internet. On July 14, he will perform in his hometown of Chattanooga, at the Sisters Expo in Eastgate Town Center. The Sisters Expo, sponsored by Power 94 WJTT and Groove 93 WMPZ, will also feature other national recording artists, like Kenny Lattimore and LaTocha Scott from the group Xscape.


On July 20, he will perform at The Soulboxx Café in San Dimas, CA, sharing the stage with such diverse Christian artists as KJ Scriven, Bravo, Janette…iKZ and others. This will be T-Ran Gilbert’s third performance this summer in the Golden State.

On Aug. 11, T-Ran Gilbert will be a Presenter at this year’s Crunk 4 Christ Radio Holy Hip Hop and Rhythm & Praise Awards Show at the Georgia World Congress Center.  This will be his first appearance on the Crunk 4 Christ awards stage.

Shakespeare Chattanooga Presents All’s Well That Ends Well

Woman Killed In Early-Morning Wreck On Thrasher Pike

A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash in the 1200 block of Thrasher Pike early Saturday morning. Soddy Daisy Police Chief Phillip Hamrick said a female passenger was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported to Erlanger Hospital by LifeForce helicopter about 3:15 a.m. The driver was transported by Hamilton County EMS. It is believed he had non-life threatening injuries. ... City May Move Forward On $47 Million Wilcox Tunnel Project

City officials may move forward on a $47 million project to upgrade the narrow Wilcox Tunnel through Missionary Ridge. The City Council on Tuesday is to consider a resolution to apply for a $25 million federal TIGER grant. The city would still have to come up with $21,825,000 through "local funds or grants."
