The July exhibit at River Gallery will feature Nancy Kubale (North Carolina), Roelna Louw (Georgia), and Susan Parrish (North Carolina). The opening reception will be on Friday, from 6:30-8 p.m. River Gallery is at 400 E. Second Street, in downtown Chattanooga.
Through surface, texture, and materials, the three artists for July bring a collection of ideas from the human spirit.
Nancy Kubale explores the pursuit of truth and nature of our humanity with her figurative clay and found object sculpture.
Clay artist, Roelna Louw, expresses experiences of the soul by telling a story in each piece, encouraging the viewer to gather and explore their own thoughts.
Using found objects and clay, mixed media artist Susan Parrish recycles a collection of materials to convey her concern for the environment.
The Event is free and open to the public.
