Ransom E. Jones, 53 of Ringgold, died on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at his residence.
He attended Brainerd Presbyterian Church and loved to play music, especially his guitar. Ransom worked as VP of Information Technology for PHCG, Inc.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wesley and Marie Jones and John and Julia Jones.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Jones; daughter, Emilee Jones; parents, John and Joyce Jones, McMinnville; in-laws, Ed and Marj Ross, McMinnville; sister, Catrenia (Anthony) Wanamaker, McMinnville; brother-in-law, Mark Ross, Murfreesboro; nephews, Travis and Dusty Wanamaker, both of McMinnville; niece, Alyshia Wanamaker, McMinnville; and several other family members.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 6, at the Brainerd Presbyterian Church, 1624 Jenkins Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421, with Reverend Ronald Ragon and Johnathan Schwartz officiating. Entombment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Linsey McGregor, Bud Seals, Si Yim, Micah Boaz, Mike McTaggart, Chris Barrow, Tim Fann and Larry Black serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 404 BNA Drive, Nashville, Tn. 37217.
