A couple who met and married as teens in Chattanooga are remarrying after 48 years of divorce.
Lena Henderson and Roland Davis of West Seneca, N.Y., both 85, will be reunited next week. the Buffalo News reported.
The couple divorced in 1964, but remained on friendly terms. Mr. Davis remarried, but his second wife died recently.
It was noted that when he was married to the second wife that she would sometimes call Lena for advice on how to deal with him.
Oldest daughter Johnnie Mae Funderbirk nudged them toward the new vows, but Mr.
Davis said he had been thinking about it through the years, the newspaper said.
Four generations of the family will be at the wedding.
