Dean M. Beasley, MHA, MSW, LCSW, 67, died on Monday, July 2, 2012 at his home in Mobile, Alabama.
He was born and raised in Chattanooga, but lived in Mobile for the past 24 years. Dean worked in the medical field as a social worker and was highly regarded by his peers and associates. He was a disabled veteran who achieved the rank of Captain in the United States Air Force.
Dean is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Sue Cox Beasley; his son Brann Beasley and his daughter, Deana (Greg) Cruz. He also had one grandchild, Justice Cruz.
He was preceded in death by his parents, R.D. “Bill” Beasley and Lucille Oliphant Beasley.
He had many loving in-laws who were very supportive during his illness.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 9, graveside, in Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
