Randall Leon Yates, 47 of Rossville, Georgia, died on July 6, 2012 with family by his side.

He was born in Fort Oglethorpe, to the late Lamar & Wilma Yates and was the youngest of five children. He was a 1983 graduate of Ringgold High School and attended Dalton State College.

Randall loved spending time with his family, sports, computers, and ice cream sandwiches. He was a passionate fan of the Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Bulldogs and they will forever be a part of him.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Wanda “JoJo” Tate.

Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Annette Yates, son, Chris (Jamie) Yates, sister, Pamela Gentry and family, brother, Don Yates and family, sister, Dianna Sharp and family.

Viewing will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Monday, July 9, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.

Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Fort Oglethorpe.
