Saturday, July 07, 2012

Ralph Miller and I have known each other since high school, and I have worked with him in after-school tutoring programs and for him when he was principal of Wolftever Creek Elementary School in Ooltewah.

He is a fine example of a public-spirited citizen who understands the complexities of our public education system. His extensive experience as a teacher and administrator make him particularly qualified to represent the educational interests of Hamilton County's 7th District.

Not only is he experienced and capable, he is a man of high principles and ideals who is fair-minded. He will seek out the best answers to issues before our School Board and participate fully in the shared decision-making that leads our Hamilton County School system on the path to excellence.

I urge you to support and vote for Ralph Miller for Hamilton County School Board, District 7.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- After scoring a goal 15 minutes into Tuesday’s TSSAA Class A/AA soccer quarterfinal and holding that lead for the next 23 minutes, Notre Dame felt good about its chances of advancing to the state semifinals.
