CapitalMark Lands 5-Star Rating For 5th Consecutive Quarter

Monday, July 09, 2012

BauerFinancial, Inc., the nation’s leading bank rating and research firm, recognized CapitalMark Bank & Trust as a 5-Star Superior bank. A 5-Star rating indicates that CapitalMark is one of the strongest banks in the nation. To earn this prestigious 5-Star rating, CapitalMark must excel in areas of capital quality, asset quality, profitability and much more. In fact, CapitalMark Bank & Trust has earned this 5-Star Superior rating for the latest five consecutive quarters.

“As big banks grow increasingly complex and inflexible,” said Karen L. Dorway, president of the rating firm, “it’s encouraging to know that there are still institutions, like CapitalMark Bank & Trust, that have mastered the three R’s of banking. CapitalMark is 1) Responsive to its customers’ needs, 2) Responsible in its underwriting and investments, and 3) Respected by the nation’s premier bank rating and research firm as well as its customers.”

CapitalMark Bank & Trust offers a wide range of banking and trust services to businesses and individuals. Founded March 5, 2007, CapitalMark has locations in Chattanooga and Knoxville and received regulatory approval to open offices in Oak Ridge and Cleveland, Tn.
