Experience a new kind of sound as horns and rhythm fuse during this week's All-American Summer concert featuring the Kymera Project at Hunter Museum Thursday at 6 p.m. Much like the mythological creature it represents, The Kymera Project is an ensemble of mythological proportions, incorporating multiple styles of music. The project is a culmination of six men, "whose destinies lie in the path of the groove."
The All-American Summer concerts are included with regular Museum admission (free for Hunter members, $9.95 for non-members). Come early and explore the images of the Hunter's new exhibition, Sound and Vision: Monumental Rock and Roll Photography.
The All-American Summer concerts are held every Thursday night through Aug. 16. There will also be special concerts on the free First Sunday on Aug. 5.
Support for the All-American Summer concert series is sponsored by Chattanooga Coca-Cola Bottling Company and Tennessee American Water.
The Sound and Vision exhibition was organized by The Columbus Museum, Ga., and guest curator Christopher Murray of Govinda Gallery in Washington, D.C.
Exhibition sponsors: Signature Audio Systems and JDH Company, Inc. Roofing and Sheetmetal Contractors.
