Regina Russell Harrington, 58, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in a local hospital, surrounded by family and friends.

She was loved, her unwavering faith in God admired.  Regina was known for her stunning smile and generosity, she will be missed.

Regina was valedictorian of Howard High School Class of 1972.  After approximately 30 years, she later retired from federal service.  She enjoyed reading for entertainment and knowledge.  She was a dedicated and engaged member of the World’s Church of the Living God, (WCLG), where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, and sang and played flute in the mass choir.  Regina sincerely loved and trusted God.  She was an avid music enthusiast, enjoyed creating web sites, and was fascinated with humming birds.  She also thrived in her career with AVON.

Her beloved son, Maurice Jordan; father, Ivy Russell and mother, Elizanne Hudgins preceded her in death.

She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Allan Harrington, Sr.; special mentor and pastor, W. C. Hunter; sisters, Mildred Russell, New York; Barbara (Ernest) Hardaway, Chattanooga; Bellzoria Wright, Atlanta, GA; special friends, Robin Angela; extended daughter, Naomi Harrington, Chattanooga; extended daughters, Miriam and Tiffiany Harrington; extended son, Allan Harrington, Jr., Nashville; and (EC) daughter, Stephanie Harrington, Chattanooga; grandchildren, Deontre and Denitra Moore; and Tamaya McKamey; nieces, Patrice Cheeks, Kelley Harrington, Dr. Adrian Nichole Harrington and Shawn Howard; nephews, Christopher and Eric Hardaway and Michael Angel; the entire WCLG family; a host of relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Special thanks to Bishop W. C. Hunter, faithful in-laws, Barry and Callie Harrington; loving friend, Clara Smith. To Doctors, Harless, Harrington and Love, thanks for being there for us.
