Faye  White  Mitchell, 58  of  LaFayette, GA,  passed  away  at  home  Wednesday, August  9,  2012.


She  was  a  life  long  resident  of  LaFayette.


She was preceded  in  death  by  her  parents,  Ray  and  Ida  Kate  White;  brothers, John,  Dale, David  and  Michael  White;  brother-in-law,  Buddy  Moore; and  father-in-law,  Ellard  Mitchell.


She is survived  by  her  husband, Freddie  Mitchell,  LaFayette;  sons,  Steven  and  wife Beth  Beason,  Frankie  and  wife Stephanie Beason; step-sons,  Eugene  and  wife  April  Mitchell and  David  Mitchell  and  fiancé  Erlene  Chambers; sisters,  Judy  and  husband Ronnie  Howard and Linda   Moore; mother-in-law, Midred  Mitchell; grandchildren, Dillon  Mitchell,  Ryver  Mitchell, Cassidy  Mitchell,  Cooper  Mitchell and Katlyn  Graviet; and several  nieces  and  nephews.


Funeral  will be from  the  Wallis  Memorial  Chapel  Saturday, August 11 at  2 p.m.  Service will be  conducted  by  Rev.  Melvin  Bridges,  Rev.  James  Stephers and  Rev.  Ronnie  Gentry. Interment will follow  in  Arnold  Cemetery. Pallbearers  are  Brian  White,  Shawn  White,  Jody  Thorton,  Joey  Thorton,  Timmy  Thorton and  Jonatham  Lively. Honorary  pallbearers  are  Eugene  Mitchell,  David  Mitchell,  Ryver  Mitchell,  Dillon  Mitchell and Jac  Moore.


The  family  will  receive  friends   at  the  Funeral  Home  Friday, August 10  from  4-9 p.m.


The  arrangements  are  by  Wallis-Wilbanks  Funeral  Home  of  LaFayette.  


Williamson, Betty Faye (Copperhill)

Betty Faye Williamson, 54, of Copperhill, died on May 16, 2013.  She was born in Salisbury, N..,C and raised in Chattanooga. She worked at Animal Clinic East for 12 years and was a big animal lover. Man Stabbed To Death After Argument

A Chattanooga man was stabbed to death after an argument on Friday night.
