Martha Jo Manning, 68, of Rossville, died on Thursday, August 9, 2012 in a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 13, at 1 p.m. at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1505 North Moore Road, Chattanooga, with Dr. Gary Carver, Bruce Clark, and Minister Don Martin officiating.  

Ms. Manning will lie in state on Monday from noon until the service hour at the church.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, Aug 12, from 1 – 8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.

A Chattanooga man was stabbed to death after an argument on Friday night.
