Ridgeleigh Circle House Fire Cause Found To Be Arson

The Dalton Fire Department responded to a house fire Monday at 3:13 a.m. at 1120 Ridgeleigh Circle. On arrival, the fire department crew found heavy fire from the rear of the house. The fire was under control around 3:50 a.m. 

 Dalton Fire Department began the investigation and has determined the cause of the fire to be incendiary/arson. 

The Dalton Fire Department is asking for anyone with information to come forward and call the Dalton Fire Department at 706.278-7363; Dalton Police Department at 706.

278-9085; or the Georgia Arson Control Hotline at 800.282-5804. Those providing information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for arson, may receive a reward of up to $10,000 offered by the Georgia Arson Control Hotline.



Former Nurse Charged With Stealing Drugs

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Special Operations charged Shannon Rene Williams,  a former nurse at Parkridge Hospital East with 10 counts of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud and one count of felony theft.
