The Chattanooga Mocs football team held its first scrimmage of fall camp after one week of practice at Finley Stadium today. The offense had the better of it with seven touchdowns on the day, five on the ground.

Terrell Robinson (South Pittsburg, Tenn.) scored from 42 and three yards out. The 42-yarder featured a head-fake that looked to be in midseason form. The starting signal caller ran completed seven of 12 passes for 68 yards and ran for another 49 on seven carries.

Jacob Huesman (Chattanooga, Tenn.
) saw a majority of the snaps behind center today. He threw for two scores and ran for another. He accumulated 236 yards on 19 of 29 passing. His scoring strikes were from 38 and 14 yards to Al Thompson (Nashville, Tenn.) and Tommy Hudson (Moultrie, Ga.), respectively.

Kendrix Huitt (Atlanta, Ga.) led the way on the ground with 66 yards on six carries. That total included a 55-yard touchdown scamper. Huitt paced a Mocs rushing attack that posted 319 yards against a defense bereft of its top performers. Today was more finding depth on the defensive side of the ball than getting reps for those who are proven under the lights.

Other Highlights:
-       Hudson had a team-high nine receptions for 95 yards.
-       Keon Williams (Chattanooga, Tenn.) had 47 yards on four carries including busting loose for a 26-yard rush, the final tally of the day.
-       Nick Branum (Knoxville, Tenn.) made the switch from wide receiver to safety late in the week and had the defense’s top play, a 52-yard fumble return for touchdown.
-       Sema’je Kendall (Huntsville, Ala.) had the lone interception closing on a deep ball from Robinson to Ron Moore (Sanford, Fla.).
-       Devin Scates (Memphis, Tenn.) and Keyon Reed (Palm Bay, Fla.) led the defense with 1.5 sacks each.
