Ready2WorkIt Sessions Start Tuesday

The Chattanooga Housing Authority is offering a job readiness program called “Ready2WorkIt.”   The nine session program will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-3 p.m. Aug. 14-30.  Sessions will take place at the Cromwell Hills Community Center at 3940 Camellia Dr.

There will also be other sessions at College Hill Courts and the Greenwood Terrace locations. Dates and times will be announced.  

“Ready2WorkIt” will feature resume writing techniques, mock job interviews, dressing for success, workplace etiquette and other valuable information to help individuals gain and maintain successful employment.

 The sessions are free and open to the public.

Lightning Strike At Collegedale City Hall Will Cost City Tens Of Thousands

Rogers, 20, Shot Twice While Standing On His Porch

A 20-year-old man was shot twice while standing on his porch on Monday night. At approximately 8:44 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting that occurred in the 1900 block of Walker Street.
