Challenger Center Recognizes Legacy Award Recipients

The Challenger Center will recognize Legacy Award recipients at its first annual Legacy Awards to honor local Challenger Center supporters.

The Callenger Center for Space Science Education Legacy Awards lunch will recognize seven local Chattanooga individuals and business who were integral in the creation of the local Challenger Center and supportive of Challenger Center as a whole.

Awards will be presented by Challenger Center Founding Chair, Dr. June Scobee Rodger. Legacy Award winners include:

Jim Berry, CEO, Republic Parking System

Hardwick Caldwell

John and Zan Guerry

Clarence E. Harris Foundation, Inc.

Ellsworth and Sharon McKee, McKee Foods

Dr. Fred Obear, former chancellor, UTC

SunTrust Bank

In addition to honoring the award winners, Tuskegee Airman Alexander “Jeff” Jefferson will be the keynote speaker during tomorrow’s luncheon

The event will be on Wednesday in the UTC Chattanooga Room (A-C)
