Mitch McClure Speaks On "Is God Trying To Gain Our Attention?" On Sunday

Tuesday, August 14, 2012
Middle Valley Church of God, at 1703 Thrasher Pike in Hixson, continues its adopted theme for 2012, "Involving Ourselves in 2012." This theme will guide all ministry efforts.

In conjunction with this theme,  Pastor Mitch McClure will continue a new series of sermons titled, "It's Rough Out There" on Sunday. Pastor McClure will speak on the topic "Is God Trying To Gain Our Attention?" in the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday.

Mr. McClure said, "Our world has changed.

Clearly God is trying to demonstrate we need Him in our lives.  How does the church respond?  How do Christians respond?  Should we respond?  This message will focus on ways I believe God is trying to gain our attention today.  Today is the day of salvation and we need to pay attention today."

Pastor McClure will lead the church in a prayer focused service at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. His message will offer an understanding of why we need to be involved in the service of God.

Middle Valley Church of God continues community ministry since 1946.  For additional information, please contact Pastor Mitch McClure at 423 843-1539.

The Delta Queen is a magnificent part of history and in many ways I'm pleased she is in town. Having the boat where she is is the problem. The crew take many of the parking spots around the park leaving families to park across Frazier and schlep their kids, strollers and picnics to the park. You don't get fireworks ... (click for more)

Last May ... (click for more)
