Catherine N. Long has joined the Hutton Company as general counsel.  

Ms. Long's experience and skills in real estate, construction and corporate law, including the acquisition and disposition of real estate, make her a welcome addition to the Hutton legal team, said Karen J. Hutton, CEO of the Hutton Company.  

Ms. Long has a B.A., summa cum laude and with highest honors in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland and a J.D. from Yale Law School.  She began her career as a deputy state public defender in Colorado Springs, Co. and then became a partner at a major Denver law firm, where her practice focused on commercial real estate and real estate finance.  Ms. Long was most recently an assistant general counsel at CBL & Associates Properties, Inc.

“Catherine will be a tremendous asset to the Hutton Company and to our clients as we continue our measured growth”, said Ms. Hutton.

The Hutton Company is a national, full service, development, real estate and construction company.  Since 1998, the Hutton Company with the support of Hutton Construction, Inc. has developed nearly 700 retail sites in 35 states.  Over 50 stores have been delivered or are under construction thus far in 2012.
