The bluegrass gospel Grassharpers brought grandchildren to the stage at The Lantern at Morning Pointe of Collegedale. The young girls started singing with their grandparents two years ago.
"It's been a good generational gap thing," said grandmother Evelyn Madewell, fiddle player. "They have beensinging with us all around at different nursing homes, assisted living communities, Mountain Opry on Signal Mountain, Highway 58 Ruritan Club, and the Tri-County Fair (Foothills Fair) in Cleveland."
Baylee Killingsworth, an 8 year old Silverdale Baptist student says she loves it. "I just likethe music and how the rhythm goes. I think it's a lot of fun going to TheLantern."
