Tommy D. Jordan, Sr., 73, of Jasper, TN, died Wednesday, August 15, at his home following an extended illness.
He was the son of the late Vestal Leonard and Juanita Collins Jordan and was the longtime owner and operator of Tommy Jordan Roofing.
He is survived by his wife, Nora C. “Shug” Jordan, of Jasper; his children, Tina Nunley, Melissa (Mark) Elmore, all of Jasper and Tommy (Sandra) Jordan, Jr., of Whitwell; two sisters, Connie (David) Reeves, of Pikeville and Marcella (Dale) Grimes of Harrison; three brothers, Clifford (Jackie) Jordan of Whitwell, Leonard (Patty) Jordan of Chicago and Floyd Jordan of Rossville; seven grandchildren, Zackery Milleson, Koby Milleson, Lanea Alder, Chelsea Nunley, Jordan Nunley, Evan Jordan and Emeree Jordan; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Saturday, August 18, at 2 p.m., CST. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 16 and Friday, August 17, from 4-9 p.m. CST at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper, who has charge of the arrangements.
