Amos, Clara Bell Wilson (Dalton)

Clara Bell Wilson Amos, 71, of Rocky Face, GA, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Hamilton Medical Center. 

She was the daughter of the the late Woodrow and Mary Moody Wilson; and was also preceded in death by her daddy, Clifford Smith; and a brother, James Smith. 

Clara was of the Baptist Faith. She was a loving and giving person, who loved life. She was retired from the banking industry after 45 years of service. Clara was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Milton Amos of the residence; son, Chris Amos and Twana McClure of Rocky Face; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Marshall Waters of Rocky Face, Jeanette and Raymond Dupree of Ringgold and Mary and Frank Kirkpatrick of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Nick (Jordon) Amos of Varnell and Jake (Jessica Ford) Amos of Rocky Face; nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, August 17 in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Melvin Waters and the Rev. Ronald Guffey officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday, August 16 from 5-9 p.m.
