The Pro-Rodeo is coming to Tri-State Exhibition Center Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. Cowboys and cowgirls from across the region will rope, race and ride, hoping to have the fastest time of the night. A man who police said was traveling 70 miles per hour on a side street in St. Elmo when he wrecked and killed one of his close friends was sentenced Monday to nine years in prison.
