A Chattanooga man found with some 100 marijuana plants growing in his home has been sentenced to 15 months home confinement and three years of supervised probation.
Allen Ray appeared before Criminal Court Judge Curtis Collier.
Officers searched Ray's home at 1213 East 35th St. on Feb. 15, 2011, and, in addition to the marijuana plants, found a loaded Taurus handgun under a mattress in the master bedroom and two unloaded shotguns.
They also found plastic baggies, digital scales, a marijuana grinder, other drug paraphernalia, growing supplies and books on how to grow marijuana.
